The Bob Godfrey Collection Announces Release of Bob Godfrey’s 'Great' with a 15% Discount to My Readers

I am delighted that The Bob Godfrey Collection has announced the release of Bob Godfrey’s 1975 Oscar winning animated short Great on Blu-Ray/DVD and Digital HD download.  This is the first time that it has been released since its short lived initial cinematic release in 1975.

Until recently StudioCanal has held the rights to the film along with Bob’s 1971 Oscar nominated Kama Sutra Rides Again.  After several months of negotiations the rights to both films are now held by The Bob Godfrey Collection.  To mark the 40^th anniversary of Great’s completion The Bob Godfrey Collection is making a documentary featuring interviews with many of the animators, artists, and technicians who worked on the film.  This 30 minute documentary will be included with all Blu-Ray, DVD, and Digital HD downloads purchased.

The release date for the Digital Download is 6 March 2017.  The Blu-Ray and DVD’s will be available on 27 March 2017.  Pre-orders are now being taken at The Bob Godfrey Collection web store at  www.bobgodfreyfilms.com/store.
