Producing Animation Books

Hello All,

Are there any books on the production process of animation.
Not the creative side, but the management side.

Any and all recommendations are welcome.

Sincerely,
Conrad

There are books that touch on the subject, I can not remember seeing a book that cover the issue in detail.
I would think that a book about production of TV or film would have the information that you are looking for.

Thanks for the reply.
I've read many books on film production and am very familiar with TV series production.
I'm wondering if there are any major differences that one has to be aware of.

Which books would you recommend for animation specific information?

Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Sincerely,
Conrad

When talking about animation, pipeline is a key term. There are animation books that demonstrate what a pipe line looks like. Basically all the different stages of animation are spread out with staggered start and completion times.

Out side of the production pipeline, my guess is that everything else is basically
the same. I am not in the business so I can not give any inside knowledge.

Is this closer to what you are looking for?
