"Animated Dreams" consists of:* International competition programme of short animated films;* Informative special programmes: retrospectives of a filmmaker, genre or studio, and focus on a country.
Eligible for competition are short (-15 min) animated films in 35mm and video formats that have premiered after 1 January, 2005. Screening copies must carry English subtitles or have English dialogue (if any). There are no restrictions to prior festival exposure of entered films.
Films in competition will be presented in competition screenings and before feature film screenings of Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival main programme (1 - 10 December 2006), if available.
International jury of three members will judge the films in international competition and present the following awards:- Grand Prix "Wooden Wolf"- Best story- Best designThe jury may award up to three special mentions.
