Peanuts Holiday Parade: A Celebration of the Art of Charles M. Schulz

The Cartoon Art Museum invites its patrons to kick off the holiday season in style with Peanuts Holiday Parade: A Celebration of the Art of Charles M. Schulz, opening on Friday, Nov. 24, 2006.

Peanuts Holiday Parade features 20 original Peanuts comic strips from the Cartoon Art Museum's permanent collection, many of which have not been displayed in the United States since the year 2000. Celebrate 40 years of comic history with Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy, Linus, Rerun, Schroeder and the rest of the gang in this rare display of timeless artwork from one of the most talented and beloved cartoonists of all time, Charles M. Schulz.

This exhibition also includes a special selection of holiday-themed strips featuring Snoopy in his classic Santa/Bell-Ringer guise. These comics are on loan especially for this exhibition courtesy of The Charles M. Schulz Museum and Research Library, located in Santa Rosa, California.
