Now in its 25th year, The Chicago International Children's Film Festival is the largest and longest-running festival of films for children in the U.S. Last year the festival screened 220 films and videos from 40 countries for audiences of 26,000 children and their families. It is the only Academy Award-qualifying children's festival in the world. Each year the festival scours the globe to present an outstanding selection of the best animation, live-action, experimental and kids-produced films for children ages 2-14. The early entry deadline is May 1 and the final deadline is May 31. For more information, visit www.cicff.org.
