‘Flow,’ ‘Inside Out 2,’ ‘Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl,’ and ‘The Wild Robot’ get the nod for Animated Film with ‘Better Man,’ ‘Dune: Part Two,’ ‘Gladiator II,’ ‘Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes,’ and ‘Wicked’ selected for Special Visual Effects.
The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) has announced the 2025 EE British Academy Film Awards nominations, with winners being announced at the awards ceremony, hosted once again by David Tennant, on Sunday, February 16, at London’s Royal Festival Hall.
Four features were nominated this year for Animated Film: Flow, Inside Out 2, Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl, and The Wild Robot.
The five nominees in the Special Visual Effects category are Better Man, Dune: Part Two, Gladiator II, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, and Wicked.
Both Dune: Part Two and Wicked each received seven nominations overall.
