The Emile Awards, the European Animation Awards, are pleased to announce the nominees for the ten categories of short and feature animated films.
Short film categories include Backgrounds and Character Design, Animation, Sound Design and Music, Best Innovative Short Film, and Best of the Best Short Film.
The Feature Film nominations are for Script Writing, Sound Tracks, Background and Character Design, Best Animation and Best of the Best Feature Film.
Founded in 2017, The Emiles honour the art of European animation and the talented people who create it, from independent animators to animation studios.
The Awards ceremony will take place on Monday 23 September 2024. It will be held at the historic Apollon Municipal Theatre in the city of Hermoupolis on the beautiful island of Syros Greece as the kick off event of the Anima Syros Animation Festival which will take place from the 23rd of September until the 29th.
