The International Media Art Forum for Youth "IMAFY", the most recent event on the Sector of Fine Arts' agenda for 2008, comes to serve as an interdisciplinary platform for youth age 35 and under, who use digital medium for implementing and designing their creative ideas and projects.
"IMAFY" is planned to be an international exhibition and competition for youth, who are invited to exhibit their projects at the main Gallery;"The Art Palace", located on the Nile bank of the city center of the great Cairo. in the Cultural Centre which contains; the Opera House, Museum of Egyptian Modern Art, Hanager Experimental Theatre, the Music Library, among other cultural places.
The exhibition and competition are in the fields of digital associated media arts, such as; Video Art, Experimental films & Animation, Interactive Art, Digital Sound Art, Computer Graphic, etc
