Tribe Pictures will host the 41st International Quorum of Motion Picture Producers Conference. Producers representing more than 40 countries and six continents will come together to exchange ideas, form partnerships and explore the latest trends and newest innovations in global film and video production. The theme of this year's event, "Show Me the Money," is intended to underscore the importance of creative dialogue and idea sharing to the international production community.
Conference highlights will also include a panel discussion on the future of international advertising, co-hosted by Tribe Pictures' Managing Director and international award winning (Cannes' Lion, Mobius, Clios) Director/Producer Dennis Gelbaum and Donna Svanberg, owner Capitol Prods., a commercial production company in Sydney, Australia. Panelists will include Lloyd Simon, a former executive with MTV and American Movie Classics, and a current consultant to advertisers and agencies; Avi Savar, head of Savar Media, one of New York's top new media agencies; Alan Eisenberg, founder of the innovative digital studio Refinery; and John Caffera, EVP of EUE/ScreenGems and former head of production for Bates Worldwide.
The conference will also include a tour of Goldcrest Studios, the New York affiliate of Goldcrest Films (producers of Chariots of Fire) and a world-class postproduction facility offering SD and HD digital postproduction services, including Digital Intermediate.
