Rankin/Bass Tribute

The American Cinematheque will present the first-ever U.S. retrospective of the work of acclaimed animators, producers and writers Arthur Rankin Jr. and Jules Bass. The screening will feature their beloved TV specials RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED REINDEER, SANTA CLAUS IS COMIN' TO TOWN, THE LITTLE DRUMMER BOY, THE HOBBIT and others. The event date will be announced later in the year.
