VIDFEST is for the creators and producers of digital content. It's a chance to meet with peers from all over the world, see their work, develop new partnerships, and engage your mind by listening and talking to people who explore and push the boundaries of creativity in digital media.
VIDFEST will engage both the general public and the international new media sector. The festival will feature digital and animated films, interactive design, an international video game championship, digital art installations and an evening gala featuring a leading edge video DJ. An online student competition for those enrolled in post-secondary schools working in digital media will also be a major component of the festival.
The festival itself will be held over two days and will include a conference module featuring international experts in the areas of digital film, interactive design, animation and video game production.
