The 4th annual 2011 Machinima Expo (MachinExpo) will take place on the weekend of the 19th and 20th November 2011 in the virtual world of Second Life™ (www.secondlife.com) and live on the web (www.machinima-expo.com). The Festival celebrates the art of Machinima, which is 3D animation created in real-time.
The next Anima, the Brussels International Animation Film Festival, will take place in Flagey from February 17 to 26, 2012.

Twins Are Weird present
Join Noelle Melody and Joy Vaccese for an international program featuring a diverse selection of art. The films themes range from the hermetic world of bullfighting, reinvented and reinterpreted to a stop motion sculpture of twenty-one large triangles animated in Melbourne, Australia’s Federation Square to a home made girl’s journey around the world with her dog as they collect their new but still perfect selves. All films are expressions the individual vision of the artist, but their common thread is they are all uniquely beautiful.

In its third year as a stand-alone festival, the UTS: Sydney International Animation Festival returns to the University of Technology, Sydney from 23 to 26 September 2011.
