TV GUIDE has gotten word from STAR TREK director J.J. Abrams that Tom Cruise has asked him back to produce MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 4. Abrams said that he and Cruise have "a really cool idea [they] are pursing." Whether or not the M:I 3 helmer would direct is up to his busy schedule and when the film would be ready to go before cameras.
