James Tupper, Clark Gregg and David Krumholtz have joined the cast of MR. POPPER’S PENGUINS, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
James Tupper, Clark Gregg and David Krumholtz have joined the cast of MR. POPPER’S PENGUINS, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Jim Carrey stars as a busy businessman whose life is turned upside down when he inherits six penguins. Carla Gugino has already been cast as his ex-wife. Tupper (MEN IN TREES) will play her boyfriend. Gregg (IRON MAN) takes the role of a straight-shooting New York Zoo employee. In another report, the Hollywood Reporter reports that Krumholtz will play Popper's neighbor who tries to get him in trouble for housing penguins in his apartment.
Mark Waters (MEAN GIRLS) is the director. Sean Anders, John Morris and Nick Stoller penned the script based on Richard and Florence Atwater's children's classic. John Davis is producing.
Fox has set August 12 for the film's release.
