First THE ANIMATRIX, then VAN HELSING and THE CHRONICLES OF RIDDICK and now ALIAS they all boast animated DVD shorts to bolster their live action siblings. The recently-released ALIAS THE COMPLETE THIRD SEASON DVD six-disc set (Buena Vista Home Ent., $69.99) contains a seven-minute animated short, ALIAS TRIBUNAL, revealing an unknown one of Sydney's (Jennifer Garner) unknown jobs during her missing two years.
The anime-influenced work was done by Noodlesoup Prods. Inc., executive produced by J.J. Abrams, Jesse Alexander; produced by Breen Frazier and David Lipson; and overseas animation was provided by Digital Emation Inc.
