Anima2021 Submissions Deadline Coming May 30

Submissions now being accepted for the 2021 Córdoba International Animation Festival, running October 6-8; held every two years since 2001, the festival promotes and celebrates the artistic and technological aspects of the art form, and is the main animation event in Argentina.

ANIMA2021, the Córdoba International Animation Festival, is both an academic and cultural event, devoted specifically to animation in its artistic and technological dimensions. Held every odd year since 2001, ANIMA is the main animation event in Argentina. This year’s event, which is organized jointly with the National University of Córdoba, continues its tradition October 6-8,

The window for film submissions has been extended to May 30 – Films will compete in the following categories:

Short Film Category:

- Grand Jury Award
- Best Latin American Animation Prize
- Best Argentine Animation Prize
- Audience Prize to Short Film
- Best Fictional Animation
- Best Documentary Animation
- Best Non-Narrative / Abstract Animation
- Best Animation for Children
- Best Student Animation
- Best Immersive Animation

Feature and Medium Length Category:

- Best Animated Feature or Medium Length Animation Prize
- Audience Prize to Best Feature or Medium Length Animation

Commissioned Animation Category:

- Best Animated Series for TV or Web
- Best Animated Special for TV or Web
- Best Music Video Animation
- Best Promotional or Advertising Animation
- Best Video Game Animation
- Best Animation for Educational or Scientific Means
