Annecy Fest Redefines Conference Program

With the goal of offering a more comprehensive program, organizers for the 2014 edition of the Annecy International Animation Film Festival announce three conference tracks: creation, production and broadcasting/distribution.

Organizers for the 2014 edition of the Annecy International Animation Film Festival have announced changes to the festival conference program.

The goal is to offer a more comprehensive conference program, enhanced by international professionals sharing their expert advice and analyses of different topics -- creation, production and broadcasting/distribution -- with attending delegates.

Creation Conferences
Creation, Production Organization, Business: an Overview of the Animation Process
Talking about the first stages of making a film such as writing, storyboards, pre-production, music and sound design.
June 10-12 -- L'Impérial Palace, Ravel A&B

Production Organization Conferences
Presenting key information on how to create a successful production. Subjects discussed include: stop-motion, optimizing production, case studies, VFX and emerging tools.
June 10-13 -- Chambre de métiers

Business Conferences
Targeted around the three formats of short films, TV productions and features, the subjects discussed concern funding, broadcasting/distribution strategies, program planning and marketing.
June 11-13 -- L'Impérial Palace, Verdi A&B

Annecy runs this year June 9-14, 2014.
