The ASIFA-Hollywood’s Animation Educators Forum Student Animation Film Festival is quickly approaching!

The ASIFA-Hollywood’s Animation Educators Forum Student Animation Film Festival is quickly approaching! This event is open to all and will be a full day of film screenings, panels, portfolio reviews ending with an awards ceremony and a reception (more information to follow). The First place winner will receive a STUDENT ANNIE AWARD which will be announced at this years Annie awards!!! There are great prizes for the top films provided by our sponsors! For all you animation film makers out there, the deadline to submit your film is September 1st (soft deadline) and Oct 1st (final deadline). We are also looking for volunteers and taking appointments for portfolio reviews! The event will take place Saturday, November 6th at Cal State Long Beach.

The International Animated Film Society, ASIFA- Hollywood’s Animation Educators Forum is looking for student volunteers for the 2010 Student Animation Film Festival. Help is needed in the following areas:

* Registration table* Portfolio Review* Screening Room* Reception hour* Escorting industry professionals

Volunteering for the Student Animation Festival is a unique opportunity that allows for personal and professional growth. Volunteering also allows for aspiring professional artists who seek a high level of networking and professional development opportunities.This unique opportunity is available to college, post-secondary and post-graduate students.

We only ask for highly motivated and enthusiastic students who enjoy helping others, and going above and beyond to make their college experience worthwhile!
