‘Avatar: The Last Airbender’ Rounds Out Season 2 Cast

Chin Han, Hoa Xuande, Justin Chien, Amanda Zhou, Crystal Yu, Kelemete Misipeka, Lourdes Faberes and Rekha Sharma join the Netflix show currently in production in partnership with Nickelodeon.

Netflix has rounded out the cast for the upcoming second season of Avatar: The Last Airbender, which is currently in production in partnership with Nickelodeon.

New cast members include Chin Han (Mortal Kombat, Skyscraper) as Long Feng; Hoa Xuande (The Sympathizer, Top of the Lake: China Girl)  as Professor Zei; Justin Chien (The Brothers Sun, The Great Leap) as King Kuei; Amanda Zhou (Spinning Out, The Handmaid’s Tale) as Joo Dee; Crystal Yu (Doctor Who, Good Omens) as Lady Beifong; Kelemete Misipeka (Sons of Thunder, ) as The Boulder; Lourdes Faberes (The Sandman, Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre) as General Sung; and Rekha Sharma (Yellowjackets, Battlestar Galactica) as Amita.

They join previously announced Miya Cech as Toph, alongside returning cast Gordan Cormier, Kiawentiio, Ian Ousley, Dallas Liu, Elizabeth Yu, Paul Sun-Hyung Lee, Daniel Dae Kim, Momona Tamada, and Thalia Tran.

The series is a live-action reimagining of the beloved animated series that follows Aang, the young Avatar, as he learns to master the four elements (Water, Earth, Fire, Air) to restore balance to a world threatened by the terrifying Fire Nation.

Christine Boylan, Jabbar Raisani, Dan Lin, Ryan Halprin, Brendan Ferguson, and Albert Kim executive produce. Studios contributing to the elemental VFX include BarnstormVFX; BigHugFX; Clear Angle Studios; Dimension Studios; DNEG; Image Engine; Pixomondo; Rodeo FX; Scanline VFX; Spin VFX; The Third Floor; and Track VFX.
