Sixth and final installment of creative duo Becky Sloan & Joseph Pelling’s ‘Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared’ shorts uses a combination of puppetry, stop-motion, 2D and 3D animation to explore the world of dreams.
Directorial duo Becky&Joe have released the sixth and final installment of their weird and wacky series of Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared shorts.
Directed by Becky Sloan & Joseph Pelling and produced by Blink Industries, the Kickstarter-funded short was created using a combination of puppetry, stop-motion, 2D and 3D animation.
While previous installments have grappled with weighty topics such as time, the Internet and the nature of love, for this chapter the duo explores the world of dreams:
The series was launched in 2011 with Don’t Hug Me I'm Scared, the video that taught puppet characters about creativity using glitter, internal organs and a talking notepad.
