New Line is in final talks with Orlando Bloom to join THE HOBBIT, reports Deadline.com. He would reprise his role as Elven archer Legolas. The studio is still in tough negotiations with Ian McKellen (Gandalf), Andy Serkis (Gollum) and Hugo Weaving (Elrond) to reprise their role as well. Bloom would join Martin Freeman, Cate Blanchett, Ken Stott, Sylvester McCoy, Mikael Persbrandt, Richard Armitage, Aidan Turner, Rob Kazinsky, Graham McTavish, John Callen, Stephen Hunter, Mark Hadlow, Peter Hambleton, James Nesbitt and Adam Brown.
