London, 9 April 2010: 'Bob the Builder'(tm), the beloved children's television character, returns to TV screens next Monday, 12 April from 8.40am on CBeebies. And, he now has a new look appearing in CG-animation for the very first time!
In 'Bob the Builder: Ready, Steady, Build!' Bob and his team are set for some exciting adventures. The series introduces young fans to the team's new home of Fixham Harbour, with stories packed with lots of 'fix it' fun and play. Fans will love watching Bob's building projects come to life and following their favourite characters as they face new challenges and learn to overcome their fears. Plus, there are friends to meet, including the newest member of Bob's family, Scratch. With problem-solving skills, team work and a positive attitude 'Bob the Builder' and the Can-Do Crew are Ready, Steady and all set to Build!
'Bob the Builder' continues to be voiced by one of the country's most popular television and stage actors Neil Morrissey and is broadcast in over 240 territories. In addition to the new TV series, which has already been sold to 21 countries, DVD special 'The Legend of the Golden Hammer' will be released next month. Bob is also starring in 'The Little Big Club' tour which is currently touring theatres across the UK and 'Bob the Builder in 4D' continues to screen at Legoland Windsor, California, Germany and Denmark.
