“As an integral part of our ever-expanding animation offering which continues to be at the forefront of our client’s wishlists, Bubble Guppies has delighted audiences with its humour, music, strong storylines and animation and we are confident that the show will work swimmingly well as part of the Milkshake! schedule,” commented Caroline Beaton, SVP International Programme Sales, VIMN. “As the perfect addition to their existing pre-school line-up, we’re in no doubt that Channel 5 will be a great home for our loveable Guppies in the UK.”

Jessica Symons, Head of Children's at Channel 5 added: “We’re delighted to welcome Bubble Guppies to Milkshake! and are certain our audience will adore the vibrant characters and enjoy the fantastic music.”

Nickelodeon will roll out a complementary multi-category Bubble Guppies consumer product range launching in the UK in Autumn/Winter 2013 across publishing, toys and softwares, and home entertainment.

From the Emmy Award-winning team behind The Backyardigans and Little Bill, Bubble Guppies is a musical comedy set in a vibrant 3D underwater environment. Following a group of diverse preschoolers with colourful fish tails, the series focuses on explorative learning: infusing the core elements of preschool curriculum including math, literacy, the arts, science and socio-emotional development.
