Seth MacFarlane’s award-winning adult animated series joins the Paramount family for the first time, kicking off Labor Day with an all-day marathon.
Comedy Central has licensed episodes of the Emmy Award-winning animated series Family Guy, which will air within the Paramount family of brands for the first time. The iconic series kicks off with an all-day marathon Labor Day, Monday, September 2, before joining the primetime lineup starting Tuesday, September 3.

"Delivering bold, irreverent and culturally impactful content to our fans is our top priority which makes Family Guy the perfect complement to our robust adult animation slate.”
The award-winning series, created and executive produced by Seth MacFarlane, boasts multiple Emmy Award-nominations, and wins in both “Outstanding Comedy Series” and “Outstanding Character Voice-Over Performance,” categories with both MacFarlane and Alex Borstein garnering the award. Borstein received a nom in the same category for 2024.
Family Guy is a 20th Television Animation production and distributed by Disney Entertainment. Rich Appel and Alec Sulkin serve as executive producers and showrunners, with Steve Callaghan, Tom Devanney, Danny Smith, Kara Vallow, Mark Hentemann, Patrick Meighan, and Alex Carter are executive producers.
Paramount Global chief programming acquisitions officer Barbara Zaneri negotiated the licensing agreement with Disney Entertainment.
