New role includes responsibility for the company’s growing production slate; tenure at studio follows 13-year run in various executive roles at DHX Media.
Vancouver-based animation studio Doberman Pictures has appointed Sarah Wall to the newly created position of Head of Production, effective immediately. Wall began her tenure at the studio in August 2020 as a producer. In her new role, she has responsibilities for all titles in Doberman’s growing production slate.
“We’re very excited that Sarah will lead production at Doberman,” said founding partner and co-president Dallas Parker. “Her knowledge, experience, and personality are the perfect fit for our company goals and studio culture.”
“We’ve known Sarah a very long time, and her relationships in the animation community with talent and clients are unmatched,” added founding partner and co-president Craig Roberts. “We’re excited for Doberman’s growth with her in this key role.”
“This is a fabulous opportunity to work more closely with our talented crew and clients,” said Walls. “After over 20 years in the business, I still get excited seeing shows come to life. I’m grateful to continue the journey at Doberman,” said Sarah.
Before joining Doberman Pictures, Wall spent 13+ years in various executive roles at DHX Media.
Founded in 2018 by animation veterans and staffed by a roster of 100 talented artists, Doberman has worked on a number of shows including Not Quite Narwhal, Rhyme Time Town and Gabby’s Dollhouse, all for DreamWorks Animation and Netflix.
