Disney Channel has renewed freshman series FISH HOOKS for a second season, reports Deadline.com. The new show has quickly become the highest rated animated program for kids 6-14, overtaking Disney's hit PHINEAS AND FERB. Noah Z. Jones created the series and serves as the co-exec producer with Maxwell Atoms.
Additionally, Alex Hirsch, who helped develop PHINEAS AND FERB, has received a greenlight for his series GRAVITY FALLS. The show follows twins who get wrapped up in the mysteries of a small town in Oregon. Hirsch will provide voices alongside Jason Ritter and Kristen Schaal.
