Disney's animated fairytale adaptation Frozen is given the award for Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song for “Let It Go,” at the Critics' Choice Movie Awards.
The Critics' Choice Movie Awards were handed out last week, on January 17, and Disney's animated fairytale adaptation Frozen nabbed the honors for Best Animated Feature.
Also taking home the award for Best Original Song for Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Bobby Lopez's “Let It Go,” Frozen beat out DreamWorks Animation’s The Croods, Universal’s Despicable Me 2, Pixar’s Monsters University and Hayao Miyazaki’s The Wind Rises.
Frozen’s accolades continue to snowball, following up last weekend's Golden Globe win for Best Animated Feature Film, and the Oscar nomination for Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song.
Alfonso Cuarón’s Gravity also pulled in the honors, winning Best Director, Best Cinematography, Best Editing and Best Visual Effects.
