‘MiLESTONES: A Concert of Anime, Cartoon, and Video Game Anniversaries’ celebrating milestone anniversaries of childhood favorites to be performed on Saturday, May 30 at The Sheen Center in Manhattan.
NEW YORK -- The New York-based “musical nerdfest” iconiQ The Soundtrack Orchestra will perform “MiLESTONES: A Concert of Anime, Cartoon, and Video Game Anniversaries” at 8pm Saturday, May 30, at The Sheen Center in Manhattan.
Concluding the ensemble’s inaugural 2014-15 season, the orchestra concert will feature music from popular Japanese animated series [“anime”], American cartoons, and video games celebrating their 15th, 20th, 25th+ anniversaries including Batman: The Animated Series, Chrono Trigger, Digimon, The Little Mermaid, Super Mario Bros., and the US Premiere of Joe Hisaishi’s Kiki’s Delivery Service from “Melodyphony,” among others. Previews of the ensemble’s upcoming season and Los Angeles edition of “SERASYMPHONY: Sailor Moon Symphony” concert will also be performed.
“MiLESTONES” will be held at the Loreto Theater inside The Sheen Center at 18 Bleecker Street. Tickets are $25.00 and available for purchase online at sheencenter.org/event/iconiq.
