'GLUCOSE' Takes Animated Short Honor at Sundance

Tale of a video game character’s dream after he is knocked out in a fight is directed and written by Jeron Braxton.

Jeron Braxton's 'GLUCOSE' won the best animated short award at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival.

PARK CITY, UTAH -- Jeron Braxton’s GLUCOSE won the top honor for an animated short at the just-concluded 2018 Sundance Film Festival.

The short, which Braxton wrote and directed, is a journey through the dream of a video game character who has been knocked out during a match.

Jury prizes and honorable mentions in short filmmaking were presented at a ceremony in Park City on Jan. 23.

The short film jurors were Cherien Dabis, Shirley Manson and Chris Ware.
