Famke Janssen (X-MEN) has been cast as the lead witch in HANSEL & GRETEL: WITCH HUNTERS, reports Deadline.com. She joins Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton, who are playing the title characters. The story follows the brother and sister whose encounter with a witch in their youth spurs them to dedicate their lives to hunting covens. Gary Sanchez is the producer on the Paramount production.
