Jonathan Nolan to Keynote VIEW 2024

The award-winning writer, director, producer and ‘Fallout’ EP will appear in person, in conversation with VFX supervisor Jay Worth, at Italy’s premier animation and VFX event running October 14-19 in the beautiful baroque city of Turin.

VIEW Conference 2024, Italy’s premier animation and visual effects event, has announced Award-winning writer, director and producer Jonathan Nolan will present a keynote live at the event’s 25th edition, running in person October 14 - 19 in Turin, Italy.

Amazon MGM Studios and Kilter Films’ Emmy Award-nominated Fallout executive producer, Nolan will take the stage in conversation with VFX supervisor Jay Worth. Nolan will discuss his filmmaking approach and explore the many extraordinary worlds he has brought to the screen. Nolan and Worth will roam the post-apocalyptic wasteland of Fallout, explore Westworld, and uncover the secrets of Person of Interest.

Based on the acclaimed post-apocalyptic videogame series, Fallout is the story of haves and have-nots in a world in where there is almost nothing left to have. 200 years after the apocalypse, the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind. They are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird, and highly violent universe waiting for them.

The series has been renewed for a second season.

Fallout stars Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, and Walton Goggins. Los Angeles-based Kilter Films (Westworld, The Peripheral, Fallout, Person of Interest) produced the series with Nolan and Lisa Joy serving as executive producers. Nolan also directed the series’ first three episodes. Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner are executive producers and co-showrunners. Fallout is available to stream on Prime Video worldwide.

“I am thrilled to welcome the legendary Jonathan Nolan onto the VIEW Conference stage,” said Conference Director Dr. Maria Elena Gutierrez. “His contribution to modern storytelling is immeasurable, and I cannot wait to hear him speak about his extraordinary body of work.”
