Fremantlemedia Kids & Family Entertainment announces major distribution and licensing deal with German kids network Super RTL for new pre-school property ‘Kate & Mim-Mim.’
London – FremantleMedia Kids & Family Entertainment today announced that new pre-school propertyKate & Mim-Mim (52 x 11’) has been sold to Super RTL in Germany in a significant deal, which will see the animated series air on the channel later this year. In addition, the broadcaster will represent the licensing and home entertainment rights for the series.
The CG animated series will soon be making its screen debut on CBeebies in the UK and on BBC Kids and the Knowledge Network in Canada this autumn, with Super RTL planning to air the series later on in the year. Aimed at 2-5 year olds, Kate & Mim-Mimfollows the adventures of Kate, a feisty little girl who, together with her toy rabbit Mim-Mim, travels to the fantasy world of Mimiloo where Mim-Mim comes alive as a larger-than-life playmate. In each episode, Kate and Mim-Mim and their group of loveable fantastical friends discover exciting new places and set off on adventures, all in the hope of solving a puzzling problem Kate has encountered in the real world.
