Legends of Chima tells the story of the Chima Kingdom, a magical land ruled by very advanced animal tribes.  These creatures walk and talk like humans. They drive vehicles, use machinery and live in amazing castles and fortresses, but still have claws, teeth, tails and wings.  And right now, they battle each other.  At the heart of Legends of Chima are Laval the Lion and Cragger the Crocodile, two best buddies, whose friendship has gone wrong, and their animal tribes are now competing for the ultimate life force – Chi. The Chima Kingdom that was once a pure and natural paradise has transformed into a land of unrest. Only a few brave heroes understand the true nature of Chi. Their story, and the stories of those who challenge them, are known as the “Legends of Chima.” These rich stories are filled with conquest, loyalty and rivalry in a world never seen before.

CartoonNetwork.com also introduces a new game Laval Unleashed available on July 1 to coincide with the new series launch. The game features Laval the Lion running through a 2-D jungle environment taking out crocodiles, ravens and more while attempting to reach tribe enemies at the end of each level.  Players will be able to attack by jumping on the heads of enemies as well as collecting Chi orbs to build up their Chi meters that allows Laval to unleash a projectile attack with his sword.
