Deadline.com reports that Megan Fox will not be returning for TRANSFORMERS 3. Competing reasons for the move are circling. Fox's reps say she decided not to return, while Deadline.com claims Paramount and director Michael Bay did not renew her option. Bad blood had flowed between Bay and Fox over comments the actress made to the press dissing the giant robot franchise, as well as comparing Bay to Hitler.
Now the rumor mill is grinding on who will replace Fox. THE WRAP reports that the leading contender is PRINCE OF PERSIA beauty Gemma Arterton. THE WRAP also add three models' names into the mix — Bar Rafaeli (best known as Leonardo DiCaprio's girlfriend), Miranda Kerr (Victoria's Secret model) and Brooklyn Decker (Sports Illustrated model and wife of Andy Roddick).
Ain't It Cool News then added a list of actresses to the rumor list including Zoe Saldana (AVATAR), Hayden Panetierre (HEROES), Vanessa Hudgens (HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL), Amber Heard (ZOMBIELAND), Camilla Belle (10,000 B.C.), Emmanuelle Chriqui (ENTOURAGE), Ashley Greene (TWILIGHT), Julianne Hough (DANCING WITH THE STARS), Jessica Lowndes (90210) and Victoria's Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
