Mercis Commissions Third Season of ‘Miffy’

CG-animated series ‘Miffy’s Adventures Big and Small’ produced by London-based animation studio Blue-Zoo launches in Spain.

AMSTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS – Mercis bv has commissioned a third season of its popular CGI series Miffy’s Adventures Big and Small from London-based animation studio Blue-Zoo. 26 new episodes will be delivered end of July 2017. The initial two seasons of the show, launched in 2015 and early 2016, have met with success worldwide. Broadcasters are currently reporting strong ratings, and Spain is the latest country to air the show. Miffy’s Adventures premieres on TVE Clan on June 20th.

Miffy’s Adventures Big and Small embraces the charm of Dick Bruna’s classic storybooks and follows Miffy through imaginative and fun stories and songs. Each episode is 7 minutes long. Season 1 and 2 each comprise 26 episodes.
