Spanish animation producer and distributor Neptuno Films has entered a partnership agreement with Raisat, which will boost the company's presence in the Italian market and the business opportunities of the Rai pay-TV satellite offer.
The two companies will go into partnership to develop within Italy the licensing program of CONNIE THE COW, one of Neptuno Films' most internationally successful series, currently broadcast by Raisat. Under this agreement, Raisat will market and develop merchandising and publishing lines for the series, whose designs are popular among the channel's youngest viewers.
Besides this new licensing deal, Raisat has confirmed its interest into the Neptuno Films animated series, having bought broadcasting rights to two of the latest Neptuno Films' series, THE GLOOPS (104x3) and MEGAMINIMALS (130x6), both aimed at preschool viewers. The Italian channel will broadcast the two series it has acquired on their children's channel Raisat YoYo.
Neptuno has previously sold the rights to its series DOUGIE IN DISGUISE and TORK to the Italian broadcaster.
The new licensing deal is the first time Raisat will be this active in the licensing business in the Italian market, promoting international and high quality properties that are popular among the Raisat YoYo and Raisat Smash audience.
