New Cast Members to Join DreamWorks Animation’s Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted

DreamWorks announced that the returning A-list cast of the studio’s popular Madagascar franchise will be joined by other top-notch talent for the third installment, Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted.

Glendale, CA  – DreamWorks Animation SKG, Inc. announced that the returning A-list cast of the studio’s wildly popular Madagascar franchise – which has grossed over $1.1 billion at the worldwide box office – will be joined by other top-notch talent for the third installment, Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted, which is scheduled to be released on June 8, 2012. Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad, Malcolm in the Middle), Jessica Chastain (The Help, Tree of Life) and Martin Short (The Martin Short Show, Saturday Night Live) join the returning cast of Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, David Schwimmer, Jada Pinkett Smith and Sacha Baron Cohen as well as the previously announced Frances McDormand.

Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Gloria the Hippo, and Melman the Giraffe are still fighting to get home to their beloved Big Apple and of course, King Julien, Maurice and the Penguins are all along for the comedic adventure. Their journey takes them through Europe, where they find the perfect cover: a traveling circus, which they reinvent – Madagascar style.
