London VFX house Nvizible, part of the Ngroup, announced that it has considerably increased capacity with the company having taken on a whole new floor at its Soho base.
Although this expansion is across the board with all operations to increase, the new floor is primarily a virtual production space for both Nvizage, the award winning previsualization division and Ncam, the markerless tracking system that enables live previsualization of environments, set extensions and CGI elements, directly in-camera while shooting. The floor will also be home to a motion capture area.
In the past year the group has doubled in size and recent credits include two critically acclaimed and multi award winning award releases; Gravity (Warner Bros.) and Captain Phillips (Sony Pictures) as well as the soon to be released Muppets Most Wanted (Disney).
Through Nvizage, Ncam, Nvizible and Nhance the Ngroup has the capacity and experience to produce the full range of digital effects. Providing a greater degree of responsiveness, flexibility and creative control to filmmakers the Ngroup bring an abundance of both creativity and technology to a project.
“I’m really proud of what we have achieved, the business is continuing to thrive and it’s great that we are bucking the trend in the current economic climate,” commented Nvizible managing director Nic Hatch. “We are all working incredibly hard to meet the demand for all our services and by expanding our business will be able to work more efficiently and continue to create superb VFX that exceed our clients’ expectations.”
