NIM Labs Launches NIM 6.0 Studio Management Platform

All-in-one system gets redesigned for speed and efficiency to help studios and freelancers bid for jobs of any size while keeping track of their bottom line.

Today, NIM Labs announced a major update to its studio management platform NIM 6.0 – an all-in-one tool that helps creative studios win business, track projects, and assess financials. With new bidding updates, studios can go after jobs of any size without losing sight of the bottom line.

“No one starts a creative studio to spend all their time in spreadsheets,” said NIM co-founder Andrew Sinagra. “NIM 6.0 brings order to the bidding process, reducing most tasks to a couple of clicks. Now, producers can easily gauge margins, automate line items, and segment their drafts in the fastest way possible, even when they’re pitching a 1,000+ shot production.”

Originally created by Ntropic, NIM gives studios a complete overview of their performance, from finance to production. NIM 6.0 builds on this foundation, translating insights from clients like Digital Domain into tools that help studios stay on track.

NIM’s redesigned bidding tools are faster and more efficient with NIM 6.0, not limited by scale – it is as fast on 100-line items as on 10,000. Shot breakdowns are categorized and auto populated with new or existing information drawn from previous projects. Each section includes margin information, helping teams adjust items accordingly.

Contact lists are navigated and linkable to a particular company, or in the case of freelancers, to multiple. The lists can be organized by keywords or groups, helping users locate specific resources as needed. In addition, contact insights of previous clients, including notes and retained data, are attached to readily assess relationships, see breakdowns of past jobs, track the studio’s clients, and view the previous rates charged.

New updates provide additional control over notifications. Teams can trigger notifications to specific team members by updating the status of a project. In addition, NIM’s UI redesign is cleaner, more modern look and designed for ease of use.
