Oscilloscope Laboratories has secured the North American rights to RARE EXPORTS: A CHRISTMAS TALE, a dark take on the Santa Claus story, reports Deadline.com. Oscilloscope Laboratories will get the film in theaters this year for the holiday season.
Jalmari Helander directed the film, which follows a Finnish archaeological expedition that digs up St. Nick, who goes on to steal the children of the town nearby.
