Rufus Sewell (TV's THE PILLARS OF THE EARTH) has joined 20th Century Fox's ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE HUNTER, reports Variety. He will play the lead vampire Adam. The cast also includes Benjamin Walker, Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Dominic Cooper.
The story follows Abraham Lincoln's campaign against bloodsuckers after one killed his mother.
Timur Bekmambetov is directing from a screenplay adapted by the novel's author Seth Grahame-Smith. Bekmambetov is producing with Tim Burton and Jim Lemley
Fox will release the film on June 22, 2012.
