POW Studios Expands Service Offerings

New Zealand-based POW Studios has expanded its business offerings, adding an array of new picture finishing services including picture editorial; offline editorial; VFX; animation; motion graphics; color grading; mastering; and deliverables, in addition to projection production and realization for live events. The post-production studio is best known for its sound services having worked on films such as The Lord of the Rings.

"Adding VFX and picture finishing services at POW Studios completes the picture and enables us to offer a total post-production service that works for our clients,” noted POW Studios CEO John McKay.

The studios newest endeavors can be seen in live events such as the flaming, performer-triggered projections for the Royal NZ Ballet’s performance of The Firebird and TV shows like Apple TV’s Mr. Corman.
