Sony Pictures Animation and Robert Zemeckis are joining forces to produce an R-rated adaptation of the humor book, HOW TO SURVIVE A GARDEN GNOME ATTACK, reports Variety. ImageMovers and the Gotham Group will also be involved. The budget will be around $20-30 million for the CG/live-action hybrid film.
Zemeckis, ImageMovers' Jack Rapke, Gotham Group's Ellen Goldsmith-Vein and Eric Robinson, and Jackie Levine are the producers. They are looking for a writer.
