Company appoints Sean Mullen as creative director and David Kern as games technical director based at the animation studio in Bangalore, India.

Mullen joins Technicolor from Disney Interactive where, for the past two years, he has worked as marketing animation lead on the Disney Infinity game franchise, overseeing animation and developing story. Previously, Mullen has worked in various feature film posts in both animation and story with India’s Prana Studios as Director of Animation (Disney’s Planes and Tinkerbell movies); Sony Pictures Animation (Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, Head of Story on Hotel Transylvania); and Sony Pictures Imageworks (Stuart Little 1&2, Animation Supervisor on Open Season). Mullen began his career working in traditional animation on various commercials and films (Space Jam, The Lion King).
David Kern joins Technicolor from nobodinos llc, a company he founded in 2012, which produced the mobile and Facebook game Bottom Feeders. Previously, Kern worked in various technical and creative capacities with Zipper Interactive, Inc. (SONY Computer Entertainment) where he spent 17 years working on such video game titles as Unit 13, MAG, SOCOM series for PS3, PS2, PSP, VITA PC: Crimson Skies, Mechwarrior3, TopGun, Recoil and Deathdrome. Kern started his career as a broadcast designer with KIRO-TV, Seattle in 1986.
