THQ Inc. released its next generation game line-up for the 2001 holiday season. The titles include DARK SUMMIT, NEW LEGENDS and MX 2002 FEATURING RICKY CARMICHAEL for Xbox, RED FACTION for PC, and in conjunction with JAKKS Pacific Inc., WWF SMACKDOWN! JUST BRING IT for the PlayStation 2 and WWF RAW IS WAR for Xbox. In addition, THQ is also releasing numerous Game Boy Advance titles. DARK SUMMIT combines snowboarding action with an in-depth story line and mission-based objectives. NEW LEGENDS is a new fighting game set in a futuristic China where players can use two weapons at the same time. MX 2002 FEATURING RICKY CARMICHAEL is a new biking game where gamers can create their own tracks. RED FACTION uses Geo-Mod technology that allows players to fully alter and destroy the game environment in real-time. Developed by THQ subsidiary, Volition Inc., this action thriller for the PC features a physics engine, five controllable vehicles and an in-depth multi-player mode supporting up to 32 players online. WWF SMACKDOWN! JUST BRING allows players to square off against more than 35 World Wrestling Federation superstars in over 70 different matches. WWF RAW IS WAR captures the style of the TV show and brings wrestling superstars like The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin to life through realistic graphics.
