Warner Bros. has bought spec script KARMA COALITION by Shawn Christensen for Dan Lin to produce, per VARIETY.
The deal for the sci fi thriller is estimated at a high-six to mid-seven figures. Christensen is the lead singer of indie rock band stellastarr* and wrote the screenplay while working on the band's third album.
KARMA COALITION, which will be fast-tracked by WB, is about a falsely accused man who tries to uncover the truth behind his wife's death before the world ends. Stephen Gilchrist will co-produce after bringing the project to Warner Bros.' Lin Pictures.
Lin is producing superhero film JUSTICE LEAGUE for WB, as well as HIDING IN TIME from the Image Shadowline comic series and Guy Ritchie's SHERLOCK HOLMES. He is exec producing TERMINATOR SALVATION and Robert Rodriguez's SHORTS.
