‘The Witcher’ Season 2 Casts Seven New Characters

Familiar favorites Nenneke, Philippa Eilhart, Dijkstra, Rience, and Codringher will appear alongside original character Ba’lain and a gender swapped Fenn.

It’s all coming together. While most plot details are still under wraps, The Witcher Season 2 has gained seven new cast members. The official Witcher Twitter account announced that Adjoa Andoh (Bridgerton) will join the popular action fantasy series as Nenneke, Cassie Clare (What Happened to Monday) as Philippa Eilhart, Liz Carr (The OA, Silent Witness) as Fenn, Graham McTavish (Outlander, Preacher) as Dijkstra, Kevin Doyle (Downton Abbey) as Ba’lian, Simon Callow (A Room with a View, Four Weddings and a Funeral) as Codringher, and Chris Fulton (Outlaw King) as Rience.

Fans of the popular Witcher games will be most familiar with Nenneke, Philippa Eilhart, and Dijkstra, while readers of the book series will also recognize Rience. Doyle’s Ba’lian is a new, original character for the series, while Carr’s Fenn will be a gender swap.

After numerous pandemic-related delays, The Witcher Season 2 is expected to stream on Netflix some time in 2021.
