The first book in the DRAGONRIDERS OF PERN series follows a team of warriors who ride telepathic dragons against a new airborne enemy.
Copperheart's Steven Hoban and Dark Hero's Benedict Carver are the producers with Angry Films' Don Murphy and Susan Montford and Hayter exec producing.
Entertainment One is handling Canadian rights and is in talks to the U.K., Benelux and Australia as well.
Filming is set to start in early 2012.
