Discovery Communications has acquired the Charles W. Clark Co. Inc., doing business as Rainbow Educational Media an award-winning publisher and distributor of high-quality core-curriculum educational videos, CD-ROMs and DVDs for children and young people in kindergarten through eighth grade. This acquisition further expands the vast digital library of Discovery's newly formed Discovery Education business unit, providing video content to enhance the classroom learning environment.

Medsn Wins Gold for Medical Education Animation

Medsn, a leading medical education company, was honored with a Gold IN-AWE award for Medical Education - Animation at the Medical Marketing Association's (MMA) national conference June 24, 2004.

Medsn received its award for "Protease Inhibitors: Targeting the HAART of HIV," a global learning program that featured 3D animation to demonstrate the complexity of a new HIV compound, its mechanism of action, and its unique clinical profile in comparison to a variety of other medications.
