Major retrospective of Spanish animation features historic work from 1908 through 1975 featuring artists, designers, humorists and studios including K-Hito, Francisco Macián, Robert Balser, José Antonio Sistiaga, Isabel Herguera, Javier Mariscal, Mercedes Gaspar, Rodrigo Blaas, Anna Solanas, César Díaz Meléndez, Nicolai Troshinky, Jossie Malis, Laura Ginès, Alberto Vázquez, Estudios Moro, Balet y Blay, and the Headless Studio.
Program of Spanish animated cinema, ‘From Doodles to Pixels: More than one hundred years of Spanish animation,’ will premiere at the 55th edition of the Annecy International Animated Film Festival.
